What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you/we upload images to the website, you/we should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

When you register with one of the FTSOLshopping.com subscriptions, or subscribe to our products and services, or sign up to receive a special reports, we ask for your email address. If subscribing to one of our subscription services by credit card, in addition to your email address, you will be asked to provide your name, credit card information and address. If you use PayPal to subscribe to one of our services, we will ask for your name and email address. All other information will be collected by PayPal. If you choose to receive text alerts from us, you will first need to provide us with your mobile number. When you register your interest in FTSOLshopping.com we ask for your first name, last name, email, phone number, investor type, and potential investment size. We usually also capture your Internet Protocol address (“IP address”) at the time you subscribe.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Also, since FTSOLshopping.com handles the distribution of some of our emails for us, we provide our users’ email addresses to FTSOLshopping.com l for the purpose of delivering these publications.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

By providing your personal information you consent to this transfer and disclosure. Please note that while we are obliged (FTSOLshopping.com) to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles in respect of your personal information, once disclosed to FTSOLshopping.com, your personal information will be subject to the privacy laws of the Australia and the United States of America which may be different from Australian law.

What Data breach procedures and safe guards we have in place

FTSOLshopping.com Asset Management, are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our past, present, and future information. In furtherance of that commitment, we take the following measures:

  • Your data is submitted securely. We use SSL encryption, an industry standard protocol for safely exchanging information. Your information is encrypted so that only your computer and Pooled Funds (and its agents or service providers) can see or understand it.
  • We use SSL Web server certificates with Extended Validation (“EV”). EV is the most rigorous industry standard for authenticating a company’s or government entity’s identity. The latest Web browsers will display a green address bar or location bar when a site has been verified with an EV SSL certificate.
  • We use “multi-factor authentication” and SSL encryption to send your data securely to the fund’s Transfer Agent, U.S. Bancorp Fund Services, LLC, for processing. This means that we are using several layers of security, including passwords and encryption, to secure your data transmission.
  • We do not store your social security number.
  • We work with the Transfer Agent to ensure that only you can create and access your Fund account(s). The Fund employs services to verify your personal information and financial transactions. If you create multiple Fund accounts, we verify additional information to accurately connect all your accounts

What third parties we receive data from

We do not sell, rent, or barter information about you to third parties.

We do not disclose any non-public personal information about current, prospective, or former investors, except as set out in this Privacy Policy (or required by law).

We may share personal information about you as follows:

  • We may provide information to service providers, such as those that process transactions or otherwise help service or administer the fund or its investments (for example, the introducing broker, transfer agent, printing and mailing companies, parties that provide marketing services on our behalf, securities clearinghouses, and other entities that may provide services at our direction). Our service providers must agree to use the personal information we share with them only to provide the services we specify. Of course, when we need to send things to you, we may also need to disclose your information to a delivery or postal service.
  • We may provide information to government agencies, other regulatory bodies, and law-enforcement officials (for example, for tax purposes or for reporting suspicious transactions).
